Back to school means a little more quiet around the house… and a lot more responsibility for your student. Help your child adjust to the school year with this after school routine clock. (To be honest, I’m thinking I could use one of these myself!)
If you’re mornings are anything like mine, all is peaceful until you realize you’ve hit snooze one too many times. You bolt out of bed and run around the house like a chicken without a head until you land in the car with wet hair and no makeup on… listening to your tummy growl because who has time to make breakfast?! (and I don’t even have kids!) Being able to prepare breakfast at night really helps with my morning routine. Maybe this yummy idea will help with your mornings too!
Overnight Oats is so simple.
Start by putting 1/2 cup oats and a pinch of salt in a jar or tupperware container, followed by 1/2 cup plain or flavored yogurt, then add fruit on top of the yogurt. Cover with your milk of choice. Another fantastic idea for your busy mornings is to divide the week’s clothes out into drawers. Or better yet, let the kids do it themselves!
